JK Chevrolet - Excellent Service!! Compliments to JD (Service Manager) and Heather on their help. I personally would like to appreciate how Heather (Service Adviser) maintained her ground in following the policy standards, and guidelines and allowing me to speak to JD (Service Manager). I would like to explain: I own a 2017 Chevy Silverado, Crew Cab, and was having an issue with my 60/40 back seat stuck in the up position and would not release to drop the seat into the normal position. This was a big problem for me with children that have to be seated by Texas law in a child's carseat. It was a Wednesday when I called with this problem. Enter Heather Service Adviser: Heather explained to me that the warranty allows 3 day "free" rental and then the continuance of rental would then be on the renter to begin paying for the rental. This became a problem for I needed to be able to transport the children and the next available appoint would be on the following Monday - 5 days into the rental. This meant that I would already owe for 2 days before have the truck looked at. While I appreciate Heather stating GM Warranty policy, it had me in a bad spot. After explaining the issue to Heather, she escalated this to get me to JD, the Service Manager. Enter JD, the Service Manager: JD allowed me to bring in the vehicle on Thursday - the following morning to see HOW / IF they could resolve the matter to at least get the seat in the normal position to transport my children. I arrived the next morning (Thursday) at 7am. JD immediately had my truck looked at and discovered that the seal bracket had failed and his group changed it out. I can't express how much our family appreciates how this problem was handled in the most professional manner as possible. I did not think that it was enough to just say thanks so I asked Heather to join me and we went straight to the Dealership Manager Jamie and in front of him I expressed my appreciation by explaining how Heather and the JD (Service Manager) handled this and how Heather and JD should get the highest marks of excellence, From Our family - Thank for resolving this most important matter. Upon my arrival no one greeted me outside. When I came into the service department still no one said anything three employee were seating behind the desk area so I waited a few minutes thinking about leaving and going back to Beaumont and pay the outrageous price for the oil change. Finally the young lady asked if I needed any help I proceeded to mention that I had an appointment she checked me in and I waited for the service to be done to my car which took about an hour and a half. Customer Service needs some improvement.
Serviced my vehicle at this dealer and never paid more than $100 for oil and filter change until this service was billed at $119.94. I had a 10% off coupon that was not honored. However, after contacting the service manager, the coupon was honored. Facility and employees were nice. Was caught off guard with the price increases.
