I purchased a 2013 Tahoe and love it! My salesman, Davion Griffin-Coleman rocked! He listened to my fears of the whole car buying experience and acted upon my wishes. Davion was extremely knowledgeable about the Tahoe. He was nice, professional and accommodating. In addition, the finance manager, Bobby, was definitely on his game. I bought a 2013 Traverse. I arrived at...
I bought a 2013 Traverse. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and wanted to test drive the Traverse. I thought they were opened because the building looked opened. My husband and I looked at the Traverses the day before and we knew which one we wanted. I looked at the cars for a while and when no one can up to me I approached the building. Sharon Taylor saw me and approached me in the parking lot and asked me if she could help me. I told her that I wanted to buy a new vehicle and I was interested in the Traverse and could I test drive the Traverse while my care was being appraised? I had to get to work but wanted to start the purchase process. I apologized about being a bit early, but she told me that she was ready to help me and not to worry about being there at 9:00 a.m. Sharon was very helpful and offered to assist me. A learning experience: One thing I noticed was that the men in the building were not very interested in helping me. I noticed they (the other sales men) were in a meeting and when they walked out of the meeting I saw they were all drinking coffee and laughing loudly. Also, when Sharon asked one of the men (I assumed it was her manager) if I could have my car appraised while I test drove the Traverse he told her "We are not opened yet and she will have to wait." I would think that the manager would want to be more helpful considering a potential sale was about to happen. It was not so much the words he said...but the way he said it. He was put out that I was there asking for my car to be appraised. I believe Sharon knew I was serious and ready to purchase a vehicle. I knew what I wanted and needed to know some information about my trade-in to plan for the purchase. I only test drove the very vehical I purchased so I was not there to just test drive cars all day. Once this person (maybe the manager) saw me sitting in Sharon's office he told Sharon "Our appraiser is not here in the building." I guess that was to try to smooth over the fact he said they were not opened. I had already heard that he was not happy I was in the building at 9:00 a.m. That made me feel uncomfortable and I apologized to Sharon again for being there early. I will never go early to purchase a vehicle again. I will wait until the afternoon or evening time. Maybe I will call Sharon before I go. The process after that was great...Sharon was very gracious to help me with test driving the SUV and beginning the process of purchasing my new vehicle. She always had an answer for my question and if she didn't know she would find out. She was very helpful even after the sale was complete when I needed more attention with a small dent in one of the doors. Our financial person...Bob was also very helpful as well. He provided us with extra opportunities to purchase the vehicle that worked better with our financing process. The experience was very great for me and I love my new Traverse! I am already referring others to Sharon and Bob at JK Chevrolet.

I was driving from where I live in Marlin,...
I was driving from where I live in Marlin, TX to my hometown of Lafayette, LA and stopped to visit some friends in Beaumont, TX. While driving around Beaumont, the check engine light and traction light came on in my 2012 Chevy Cruze. I was a little panicked, as I still had to travel the next day to my destination. Thankfully Tiffany and the rest of the service staff were able to get me back on the road Monday afternoon. The service was amazing, and my car is back to running beautifully.
